David gets the ADI GreenLight at 21!



It’s not only policemen who are getting younger, so are driving instructors! Congratulations must go to David Rowberry from Blackpool who has recently qualified as an ADI at the tender age of 21 years and 4 months.



David learnt to drive with North-West based GreenLight driving school at 17 and passed his L test within seven weeks. In October 2006 he began training to be an instructor at the GreenLight Driving Instructor Training Centre and having passed his qualifying exams at the 1st attempt he became an ADI only 9 weeks after the minimum time possible! (i.e. having held a full driving licence for 4 years)



His ADI trainer, Austin Finley tells us, ‘David deserves all the praise he’s getting at the moment, he has put so much effort into his training and proved that hard work pays off at any age. With the young driver accident rate being so high profile within our industry David is in a great position to change attitudes, especially as he’s younger than some of his pupils!’
